Local advisors

To evaluate grant requests where the company has employees working and living, the board of directors for Energy for Others® set up councils comprised of local advisors in regions with a large base of employees.

These advisors make recommendations on requests in their regions and they serve as ambassadors for Sempra Energy employee programs and volunteer efforts.

As with the board, the local advisors are volunteers from a number of Sempra Energy companies. To date, local advisory councils have been set up in these regions:

• Los Angeles County

• Northern Counties

• Orange County

• San Bernardino-Riverside Counties

• San Diego-Imperial Valley Counties

• Louisiana
